Emails can be categorized. For example gmail automatically categorizes your email into social, primary and promotions.

            Twitter can be used in education for several possessive effects. First twitter can be used for announcements  such as hw, test, projects. Most students are on twitter constantly and a quick reminder may go a long way for some students. Second twitter can be used for class discussions and food for taught. These are just two examples of how twitter can be used in education.

RSS project

1. Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?
2.           I chose certain sites to subscribe to for 2 reasons. 1st I subscribed to CDC because i had to subscribe to a government agency. 2nd I subscribed to Syracuse university because I want to learn more about the college and get updated feeds.

                        It is very simple to find and subscribe to these feeds using Digg

Help

The one thing that makes me wanna help is when i see people helping and it inspires me! For example organizations like fundraisers, or activities. When people come together to make a change its inspiring and i want to help and be apart of.

Typhoon in the Philippines

     The typhoon in the Philippines was a devastating natural disaster that destroyed people's homes and lives. About 10,000 people killed and about 500,000 people driven out of their homes. The survives had to endure the storm, losing loved ones, and losing homes. These people need our help! A few things that would help these people would be food drives, donations and clothing sent over to them.

Invisibility

         If I had the power to be invisible for one day I would follow my loves ones around to have a deeper understanding on what they go through and how to make them smile. I would do this that way I could take advantage of this opportunity and apply this knowledge to my everyday life. I choose to this because I care about my loved ones and am thankful for what they do and want to do the same for them.

          I would then at the end of the day make it my mission to make each and every one of them smile anonymously. For example leave my mom flowers at work with a note saying you are appreciated and loved. Or leave a friend a notes in there locker saying you are amazing and have a great day for a great person. I want to make people smile, make them feel appreciated, make them feel happy.

career class

     I think a class that should be added to the school curriculum should be a career class. The class would have a variety of different careers that would discuss what salary, pro's and con's, details and specifics, and the education needed. In this class we could have class speakers, for example a doctor, interior designer, fire fighter or a broker. We could also go on field trips to places like hospitals, wall street, design firms, so we can experience the work environment. The reason for this class would be there is an overwhelming number of seniors that graduate high school having no idea what they want to do with there life, but this class should reduce that number.
     The class could have projects about research careers that you find interesting. Test could be career test about what you may be interested in. The final could be interning at your top choice. This class could be a regular school day class. This class could be considered as an elective. TAKE A CAREER CLASS!

US History 2 - Ms. Garvin

      U.S History 2 is one of my favorite classes of my junior year for a few reasons. First I think Ms. Garvin is an awesome teacher. Second our classes are going to wood stock as a field trip! Third her class is very interactive, and keeps my interest.
      Ms. Garvin grew up in Wood-Ridge and went to this high school in addition to working at the Wood-Ridge High School for many years. She also graduated from Purdue University, and Columbia University.
     Ms. Garvin also has a field trip planed to go to Woodstock! Plus Ms. Garvin keeps the class interesting by having debts and movie clips in class about the cold world.

 I am a junior at wood-ridge high school. I enjoy sports such as soccer and  swimming, and hanging out with my best friends, my favorite food is bread, I have one bother that is a freshman in college and no sisters.
